"Elixir: A Summary of the Works of the Hearts from the Stages of the Wayfarers" is a book extracted from Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyya's famous work "Madarij al-Salikeen", and aims to simplify and summarize what was mentioned in this great work specializing in refining souls and reforming hearts. This book was prepared by a group of researchers to be a brief guide to the most important stations of faith that the wayfarer to Allah must pass through.
The book deals with faith-based stations such as vigilance, thought, insight, accountability, repentance, turning to Allah, remembrance, fear, and humility, in addition to many other stations that form the basis for building a sound faith-based soul. The aim of the book is to provide a faith-based antidote that helps the Muslim purify his soul and strengthen his relationship with Allah through heart-based actions such as sincerity, patience, trust, and contentment.
