Queen of Cordoba
By the writer Princess Qadriya Hussein
Andalusia has been able throughout the ages to occupy a prominent position in the memory of the entire world regardless of their religions and ethnicities. At one time, it was the destination of hearts and minds, and it occupied the first place in terms of civilization, politics, economy and culture.
This region of the world was of exquisite beauty, with its picturesque nature and moderate climate, and writers and poets still draw from this source, describing its beauty and wonderful qualities with their pens and poems.
This is a wonderful attempt to describe some of the events of Andalusia in one of the eras. The writer’s pen was creative in drawing these events with beautiful eloquence and delicate feeling.
It talks about Princess Subha (Subh), the wife of Caliph Al-Hakam bin Abdul Rahman (Al-Mustansir Billah).. and her relationship with governance and administration and its effects, and her relationship with Al-Hajeb Al-Mansur Muhammad bin Abi Aamer.
