My Father Taught Me Book Review

مراجعة كتاب علمني أبي
We attribute it to him, and we do not know anything about him except that the angels prostrated to him and then he ate from the tree, which led to his expulsion from Paradise.
We did not consider how! and why?
Deep down, we hold him responsible for our existence on earth after he left heaven, and we did not think to realize that we were created from the earth and for the earth, and that our destiny is heaven.
With three hundred pages full of contemplations, it opens our eyes to the mission of reconstruction and striving, renews the covenant between us and God in His appointment of us as successors, and connects the ties of lineage between us and Adam the human being, removing the impurities of reproach and blame for a sin for which God repented and for which we did not forgive him.
Adam taught me that sin No matter how great it is, it is not the end of the journey. The road is longer than standing for a long time in regret and pain. The mission is more difficult than simply abstaining from something forbidden. The path to forgiveness becomes shorter the sooner a person confesses, apologizes, and repents.
We are made of clay, and we have its properties and the stages of its formation.
We are of a spirit, and its breath flows within us, and we long for the upper world from which it came.
With a book that tells the story of life and how Adam lived it, refutes what was attributed to him and sheds light on his mission as he took it from the guidance of the Qur’an, it makes you feel the enormity of the mission, so you stand and look.
Where am I from him!
How much I disobeyed my first father with my actions! He is more deserving of being dutiful than anyone else.
Dr. Salman’s style is characterized by smooth eloquence. He showers us with feelings through his words and immerses us in emotions through the poetic verses he follows. With his letters, reflections, and questions, he stirs the sediments of the mind.
May Allah relieve his pain and comfort him in his solitude.
