The novel revolves around a doctor who moved to a hospital in a remote Egyptian village. This doctor was the epitome of loyalty and dedication to his work, but he was shocked by a hospital whose management was extremely corrupt, including doctors, assistants, and others. He decided not to fall into its corruption and to do his work as he wanted and as his conscience pleased him. From here, the hospital staff began to fight him.
