When I met Omar bin Al-Khattab
He was twenty-six when the call of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, struck him in his heart:
O God, strengthen Islam with the two men most beloved to You, Omar bin Al-Khattab or Amr bin Hisham.
This is how the story began, a call that pulled him from the collar of his disbelief to the light of Islam, and rescued him from the swamp of vice to the pinnacle of virtue.
And he took it from Dar Al-Nadwa to Dar Al-Arqam.
Omar Al-Jahili was perfectly prepared to be Omar Al-Farouq! All that is missing is restructuring and reformulation.
There is nothing more capable than Islam to restructure and reform people!
Islam does not eliminate natures, but rather refines them.
It does not destroy qualities, but rather refines them.
In Islam, Omar was refined and polished until he became one of those who come only once in history.
