Description

Jakarta Virgin

By Najib Al-Kilani

The events of this novel take place in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, and some of its islands, in the second half of 1965 AD.

It tells the story of the attempt of the Indonesian Communist Party to carry out a communist revolution in the country and seize power, supported by Indonesian President Sukarno and the Communist Republic of China, which led to a bitter conflict between the communists and the Indonesian people represented by the Islamic group (Mashumi), which presented many martyrs, some of whose members were thrown into prisons, and others were kidnapped.

However, divine providence prevented the success of this revolution, which the communists intended to use to eliminate the Islamic presence in Indonesia.
