Spring
I present to the reader some hints and insights, which I wrote during the days when I was wrapped in my isolation inside the library, browsing the minds of scholars, writers and intellectuals, and following some of the developments in the world of politics, literature and other things via Facebook and Twitter, and as scholars call them (the current events).
Sometimes I would participate in turn with words, thoughts and opinions, most of which I wanted to collect between the covers of this book, as Sheikh Dr. Salman Al-Awdah did before in his beautiful book (If I Were a Bird).
But my book has a clear flaw, which is that it talks a lot about books, reading, and what is related to them. The poet said long ago, “Every vessel exudes what is in it.” And in the book (Memoirs of a Reader) by Al-Ahmari, there is a chapter entitled, “An Eye That Sees Nothing but Books.” And I think I have a large share of this chapter.
