Crowd psychology
Gustave Le Bon
The importance of the book "Psychology of Crowds" lies in the fact that it is one of the advanced social studies.
Which was concerned with studying the psychological characteristics of the masses,
And the instigators that motivate them to move and revolt against the ruler.
From this perspective, Gustave Le Bon believes that the rebellious masses are dominated by emotion rather than rationality, and therefore do not interact with rational arguments.
Rather, it longs for someone to ignite enthusiasm in it through slogans and resonant phrases.
Le Bon goes on to report a frightening hypothesis:
That the masses do not remove the dictator due to his political tyranny,
She does this because he is no longer considered strong or capable of inspiring her.
And that these masses would soon yearn to replace him with another dictator who would inflame their enthusiasm,
As she is incapable of rational thinking, her behavior is driven by a state of unconsciousness that completely controls her decisions and way of thinking.
