My heart is with you, my love
The book “My Heart is on You, My Love” by Ayman Al-Atoum. The poet describes his collection of poems as “combining philosophical Sufism, love, and freedom.” “Sufi attempts in a world full of overwhelming materialism!!” “Mixing the soul and body in poetic expression. More bias towards women and their enchanted world!!” The Jordanian press described it as “The collection is distinguished by the fact that it combines various spectrums of topics and contents. While women occupied the softer half, Sufism and the homeland occupied the more tender half. The language of the collection relied on poetry woven from Sufi heritage and thought and the love scarf.” <2> The collection includes (25) poems, distributed over (132) pages. The poems began with (Half) and ended with (The Celebration of Death). The poems included in this collection were written between the years 1994 and 2004, as the writer dated them.
