Tajweed Quran - Jami'i Measurement

The qualitative shift that took place in the Tajweed Mushaf is evident in that it makes the reader of the Holy Qur’an a reciter of the words of God Almighty, directly from his eyes (after listening carefully to how the letters are performed from their correct points of articulation from his sheikh or teacher), just like the case of distinguishing the letter (tha-th) from the letter (ta-t), as the presence of three dots on the letter means that the reader must pronounce the alveolar tha’ from its correct point of articulation by receiving it from his sheikh or teacher, and the same applies to distinguishing the fatha vowel from the kasra vowel.
Therefore, the reader of the Tajweed Qur’an only has to practically recognize three color categories, which are:
1- The red color category, with its shades, for letters subject to the rules of extension.
2- The green color category is for the rule of concealment and for the locations of nasalization.
3- The dark blue color category is for the emphatic Raa, and the light blue color is for the Qalqalah.
As for the gray color, it is not visible in relation to the black letters, and therefore is not pronounced. As for those who wish to memorize the justifications for the Tajweed rules and their names, they are explained at the end of the Qur’an through a simple and direct table, which includes 28 basic Tajweed rules.
