I missed a prayer
When we were young, we used to be ordered to pray by our elders. We would obey the order, then go to pray, but we would find that praying was too difficult, so we would leave it!!
We hear a sheikh talking about prayer, its importance, and the punishment for abandoning it. So we go to pray. We find that prayer is burdensome, so we abandon it!!
We thought that the one who orders us to do it does not feel what we feel.
We thought that whoever preserves it has a divine gift that we do not have.
We waited for this divine gift for a long time... until we missed one prayer after another!!
Because we did not solve the root of the problem... which is why does prayer seem so heavy??
