The Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the media
If media is the dissemination of information after collecting and selecting it, then the Messenger - may God bless him and grant him peace - practiced the dissemination of divine rulings, laws, and information, explaining them and clarifying their implementation and practical application.
But if the media means the call or the old reform that was called in the Middle Ages (Propaganda), meaning the activity aimed at spreading the call, preaching it, and winning believers in it.
The life of the Messenger - may God bless him and grant him peace - from the beginning of the mission until his death was a continuous series of preaching and activity to spread the call.
By briefly reviewing the events of the Prophet’s biography, the reader will come to know the type of this missionary activity of the Messenger - may God bless him and grant him peace - whether by reading the eternal informative message of Islam - i.e. the Qur’an - to the people and explaining it to them, or sending letters to kings and princes to invite them to enter the new religion, or sending missionaries to the tribes to invite them and enlighten them about Islam, or jihad with the sword to raise the word of God - the Almighty - and open the countries to the new religion, or arranging the Muslim home and Islamic society from within, or other.
If we say that the media means open diplomacy or popular diplomacy and foreign political work, then the biography of the Messenger - may God bless him and grant him peace - has established this meaning and carried it out in the most perfect and exemplary manner, whether that was in the pledges of allegiance that the Messenger - may God bless him and grant him peace - was pledged by his companions, or in the treaties and agreements that he - may God bless him and grant him peace - concluded with those who did not believe in him.
