Mustafa Lutfi Al-Manfaluti
It is a romantic novel adapted from a French novel called Under the Shade of the Linden Tree. Al-Manfaluti was influenced by the novel and took the initiative to translate it into Arabic, because it contains an explicit call to adhere to the values of truth, goodness and beauty embodied in the simple rural village environment.
The story takes place in a rural atmosphere, characterised by simplicity, spontaneity, honesty, sincerity and contentment.
Similar to the atmosphere in which Al-Manfaluti grew up in Egypt,
