Financial freedom
Ancient philosophers were critical of wealth and money, as Plato says in the dialogue (The Republic): “The more they think about accumulating wealth, the less they think about virtue; because when wealth and virtue are placed on the two sides of a balance, one side must outweigh the other.”
On the other hand, there have always been poets and philosophers who look at the subject from a different angle. The great poet Johann Wolfgang Goethe said: “Health without money is half sickness.” The American poet Gertrude Stein said: “I have lived rich and I have lived poor, and in my opinion rich is better.” As for the writer Oscar Wilde, he said: “When I was young I thought money was the most important thing in life, and now that I am older I realize that it is.”
In fact, there is something that most people do not know: it is harder to keep a million than to make a million. Most people assume that they can live a comfortable life if they only have a million dollars, or even ten million dollars. I do not want to claim that making a million dollars is easy, but having this amount will not benefit a person unless he knows how to invest it wisely to add more to it. Dealing with money is something that must be learned, and it is also something that can be learned. People who fail to learn this skill will lose their money faster than they think.
The first part of this book teaches you how to accumulate wealth, and the second part explains how to grow your wealth after laying the groundwork instead of sitting and watching this wealth disappear into thin air. You will learn about the hidden pitfalls that you should avoid and the advisors that you should ignore, and how to minimize your losses, and grow your wealth through wise investment that allows you to benefit from your financial independence to the maximum.
