Dove of peace
The novel "Dove of Peace" by Dr. Najib Al-Kilani revolves around the character of (Sakina), the main character in the work. She contributed with a group of men from the village to extinguishing the fire of sedition and advancing the peace process. This was done by convincing her husband (Abdul-Wadud), the cruel feudal lord, to stop his revenge on the village peasants, oppressing them and throwing them in prisons. And convincing him of the justice of the peasants' cause.
That is why the novelist focused on the transformation in Abdul Wadud’s character through the role of his wife, Sakina, and his educated sons, among whom were the doctor, the teacher, the accountant, and the engineer, all of whom contributed to peace, security, and justice prevailing in the village.
